Free Book Donation — Serving All of Massachusetts

Books Are Being
Destroyed
Every Day.

Millions of books are pulped, burned, and discarded annually — not because they lack value, but because no one knew someone needed them. We're changing that — one donation at a time, across all of Massachusetts.

This Isn't a Small Problem.
It's a Silent Catastrophe.

Every year in the United States alone, over 320 million books are destroyed. Publishers pulp unsold copies. Libraries cull their shelves. Bookstores return and discard. The physical bodies of knowledge — stories, histories, science, art — turned to mush.

Meanwhile, 32 million American adults are functionally illiterate. Children in underserved communities own fewer than one book per household. The books exist. The people who need them exist. They just never find each other.

We are the bridge. Your unwanted books are someone else's entire world. Don't let them become landfill. And it's not just books — we also accept DVDs, CDs, and video games. If you're cleaning out, we'll take it all.

No drop-off hassle. No sorting. Just a few steps and your books find a new home.

02

03

Books Find Readers

Your books are matched with schools, shelters, and communities that need them most.

Every Donation Goes Somewhere That Matters.

We don't warehouse books. We move them — fast — directly into the hands of people and places that need them most across Massachusetts.

🏘️

Communities in Need

We partner with shelters, food banks, community centers, and low-income neighborhoods across Massachusetts. Your donated books go directly to families who can't afford them — giving children and adults access to knowledge they'd never have otherwise.

🍎

Teachers & Classrooms

Teachers in underfunded schools spend hundreds of dollars of their own money on classroom supplies every year. We connect them with donated books so every student has something to read — without their teacher paying out of pocket.

📦

Little Free Libraries

We stock and refill Little Free Libraries across Massachusetts neighborhoods — those small wooden boxes on street corners that let anyone take a book, leave a book. Your donation keeps them full and communities reading.
